Genital warts, commonly referred to as the Human Papilloma virus, are actually one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases around. Mostly affecting the genital tissues of both men and women, genital warts can also be transmitted through the mouth or throat of a person who has come in oral contact with an infected person.

Genital warts occur because of the viral infection, HPV. HPV is the Human Papillomavirus and affects men, women, and children of every shape and size. Genital warts can appear as cauliflower-like bumps, growing into small or large clusters.
